Main announcement poster
The centrepiece of the campaign, setting the human and the cyborg face to face beneath the event's pixel logo. I built the composition around the “Choose your side” call to action so the storyline reads at a glance.
A pixel art poster campaign for PWNSEC CTF 2026, built around the event's “Humans vs Cyborgs” storyline. I illustrated the characters and designed the announcement and story posters within the event's existing brand.

The event's established pixel logo and “Humans vs Cyborgs” title, which I worked within rather than redesigning. Matching their chunky, retro style kept every new illustration aligned with the existing brand.
Two supplementary graphics that give each side of the story its own spotlight. Released as a pair, they carried the narrative beyond the main poster and across the campaign.
Full-body pixel art of the human and the cyborg, illustrated from the event's storyline. Their mirrored running poses were designed to clash head-on across the main poster.
Close-up pixel portraits of both characters, giving each one a distinct personality. The headshots let the characters work at smaller sizes across the supporting graphics.
Certificates of achievement for the top players on the cyborg and human leaderboards. Each carries its side's identity, extending the story right to the end of the competition.
A pixel art flag drawn to match the banners in the event logo. Small assets like this kept the retro, game-inspired world consistent across every piece.
